Had to have some glitter

I saw this paper and felt it needed flowers and glitter so this is what I did.

A touch of stickles on each petal.

A few butterflies

And just a few other embellishments

Finished the whole thing off. More tomorrow. xx

Sisters are doing it for themselves

Weddings are always fun and this great photo was exactly right for these Prima papers.

The large butterfly is stamped onto cream card using Tea Dye Distress Ink.


  

The alphabets in this kit were to die for.

Picture frame

These papers are just to beautiful to hide away under anything too large so on this, the second of eight layouts using Primas beautiful papers, I’ve concentrated on the middle of the paper and just added two small decorated photo frames. These are hung with cream satin ribbon and decorated with flowers and hearts.

  
A small sprinkling of tiny hearts finish it off.

It’s all in the detail

Over the coming week or so I will show you some of the layouts we made for the October Limited Edition Kit Class.

The papers used are from Prima and are one of our favourite collections of 2011.

Today I’ll start with the layout entitled - LOVELY

The butterflies are a small stamp, stamped onto the paper and cut out.

Glossy accents makes the body 3d and shiny.

The paper is beautiful in itself so it only needed a few well placed embellishments and detail to finish it off.

Busy day

A great class

A little while ago we held another Tim Holtz inspired Project Day. This time we made a clock and as will all of these classes, it was up to the ladies to choose what colours and decoration they used.

Card Inspiration

Just a quick hello today with four cards made for a recent card class. There are two Christmas cards which will be added to our slide show on the right as well, and two general occasion cards which are easily made but effective.

I’ve used one of the nestabilities dies to make the background.

I love the Prima stamp on this one. It’s something really different.

Father Christmas

If you haven’t got a suitable background paper then make your own by adding glitter dots to a plain piece of card or paper

Just a note to say…

This is one of Gayles Digi Stamps (You can find it HERE). This is so easy to do but so effective. Get a great 3d look by decoupaging the flowers.

Notice that the flowers are only coloured in around the edges of the petals.

White Christmas

I love the crispness of white on white at Christmas. Sometimes simple is the most effective.
