Dirty Dancing by Karen Hudson

I love the way karen is in the background of this photo and slightly out of focus.

Laugh by Karen Hudson

When Morags mini book arrived Karen fell in love with the way she had used a mask to make additional balls on the paper. As Karen had to teach the class, she tried it on this layout. I'm sure we'll be seeing this technique in many future classes.

You can't see the detail in this photo but the left hand side of the layout is made from a transparency which has been glittered up.

Hope you like what we all did with this Limited Edition kit. Watch out for more of these classes in the future.

I can't get the scanner to work

So there's only one layout to show you tonight, again from our Morag and using the Fancy Pants Exclusive Kit. We love this one.

Scanner permitting I will put the rest of the layouts on tomorrow.

Limited Edition Kit Class Part 2

Morag Cutts made a lovely book as one of the examples for our Kit Class. It was made using the Fancy Pants Delight Papers plus the rest of the kit.

Watch out for more layouts tomorrow.

Limited Edition Kit Class

This was the first Limited Edition Kit Class that we had tried and it went down a storm. With 7 layouts and two mini books, there was plenty of choice and something to suit everyones taste.

The papers in these classes are exclusive to the people who attend and are not sold in the shop. The kit included papers, cardstock, ribbon, buttons, chipboard and stamps. It was really scrummy.

So over the next few days I will be showing the projects.

This was made using the grass stamp and lime green embossing powder on the background. We love the stamp.

Look Into My Eyes 2

We had fun at the class last night making an acetate page. As usual it was totally manic but everyone managed to finish all of their "bits" and here as promised are some detailed photos of the finished article.

Watch out for an acrylic Class in June.

Sneak Peek

For tomorrows "Look Into My Eyes" Class. Ignore the black background. It's only there so you can see the detail. In reality this is a clear layout and a newer version of the last class.

Looking forward to the class. If you're reading this and coming along then try and bring a 5" x 7" photo. You don't need a photo to make the page but it might help for colours. Don't forget we have 2 places available HERE.

A little Family Scrapping.

I was going to put the layouts from last Saturdays Family Scrapping class but I have left them at the shop (again). So, here are three past layouts completed early this year.

It Runs in the Family

I love this layout. As I trawled through the hundreds of photos still to be put in the family album, I can acorss this one of Grandad Melbourne "performing" at a holiday camp. It reminded me that mum had also enjoyed performing on stage and I found the photos of her as a girl.

Soldier Boy

This picture is of our Uncle David as a young boy, playing with his lead soldiers. They were originally my dads but he gave them to David as he no longer used them. I wonder where they are now?

Photos

I often wondered why I both Karen and I love taking pictures, until I found this photo of Mum and Grandad. Now I know where it comes from.

Be Lead by Karen

This was the name of this lovely In Miniature project which took place on Saturday. It is Karens 6th In Miniature Class and is a beautiful keepsake which can be used as a brag book for your handbag.

This In Miniature Class 6 is being repeated on 9th June so don't forget to book your place.

Hold It!!!

This is especially for those who came to Scrap Attack tonight.

Now all you need to do is to fill in the bubbles. What were the Jelly Babies saying?

I am waiting with baited breath. And where are the jelly babies? I'm not saying.
