Did any of you go to the 40's Weekend at Chathams Historic Dockyard last weekend? Well if you didn't you really missed a treat. What a great day out and so much to see and do. What was going to be a couple of hours wander turned into a 5 hour stroll with plenty of tea, cake and entertainment (oh and over 600 photos)some of which are below.
It was fantastic to see the re-enactments, people dressed in costumes and the authentic stands, cafes and displays. I had a wonderful day people watching.
If you did miss it this year put it in your diary for 2009. It's well worth a visit.
