Sunflowers and Magenta

Go really well together. This peel-Off has sold out time and time again in the shop.

Karen has put the peel-off sunflowers onto Magenta paper and cut them out. The background paper is also Magenta. A really simple card, ideal for a beginner and so easy to make.

Todays Products are: Sunflower Peel-Off; Magenta Raspberry Odyssey Paper; Magenta Colours of Fall Paper; Bazzill Cardstock Raven and White.

I know it's very late but..................

I haven't forgotten.

It's another one of those stamps that you fall in love with but don't know what to do with it. Here are some lovely , simple ideas to help you on your way.

Who'd have thought it.........................

how easy it is to make a fantastic card from peel-offs. These are just two of the hundreds of peel-offs we now have in the shop.

and here are just two of the cards you can make with them.

You can find the peel-offs here. The leaf paper used in the Thank You card is called Botanical Garden and the Delicate Flower Peel-Offs are painted using the Stargazers Watercolour Palette and Water Brushes.
The leaf Peel-Offs on the flower card have been stuck on vellum and cut out. If you want to make this card you will need 2 sheets of the peel-offs.

Sometimes you get some new papers...........

and you can't stop using them. These beautiful understated Tropical Breeze papers are perfect for so many holiday pictures.

Once we started using them the ideas just kept coming. Here are a few ideas from Julie, Karen and our guest today, Sue Cook.

One of the most popular cards at the moment ar those with an oriental Theme. Take a look at this beautiful stamp called "The Greatest revelation is stillness".

Here are some stunning examples of what you can do with just one stamp and a little imagination.

The beads were made from the papers and varnished. Distressing was done with Tim Holtz Disstress Ink Pads.

it just takes someone elses talent to get you over that mental block.

How many time have you seen a stamp with a coloured picture on the wooden block and thought WOW but what would I do with it.

That's what we thought when we saw this Stamps Happen stamp arrive in the shop.
