Exploring Our Earth

Karen was quite clever in this one. By cropping the photo I originally thought that the rusty crackle effect was done by her but later realised it was part of the photo. Just shows, attention to detail always pays off.

Octobers Special Edition Class

has been and gone but now its tome to show the layouts. We used "EARTH LOVE" by Cosmo Cricket. We found these really INTERESTING to work with. There were a few "Oh what are we going to do with these?" moments but in the end the ideas just kept coming. Both of us loved the chipboard characters and the amazing rubons which seemed to say just the right things. So, over the next few days I will be showcasing a layout per day including some of the detail for those of you who didn't manage to get them all done in class.

What a fantastic Halloween

We had an amazing time yesterday with a great class "Hubble Bubble" designed and taught by Karen, plus a great afternoon and evening with everyone dressing up and having a ball. We even had a few little vistors which was great fun.

I hope you enjoy the photos as much as we did taking them:)

And after all of the 20's horror photos here's one in colour. Hope your Halloween was as good as ours:)

The witching hour is fast approaching

Round about the cauldron go;
In the poisoned entrails throw.
Toad, that under cold stone
Days and nights hast thirty-one
Sweltered venom sleeping got,
Boil thou first i' the charmed pot.
Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn, and cauldron bubble.

Eye of newt and toe of frog,
Wool of bat and tongue of dog.
Adder's fork, and blind-worm's sting,
Lizard's leg, and howlet's wing,
For a charm of powerful trouble,
Like a hell-broth boil and bubble.

The witching hour is finally here
It's when the witches all appear
and Zombies from their tombs draw near
To celebrate this time of year

At Scrapbook Sisters we will meet
To scrap and laugh and Trick or Treat
In wicked form we do our best
To make this day a memorable fest.

So if you're passing don't be scared
And if you're dressed we're all prepared
To take a photo with us all
And give out candy to the small.

Ok so it's not Shakespeare but not a bad effort. See you all tomorrow
